The course
Do I need any previous knowledge of astrology?
No. The Beginner Course starts from zero and explains every symbol.
I already know some astrology. Can I skip the Beginner Course?
No. Everyone starts with the Beginner Course, because it teaches the karmic method that the other tiers build on. Students with experience usually choose the Intensive pace.
What is karmic astrology?
A branch of astrology that reads the birth chart as the map of what the soul brings into this life and what it came to learn. It uses the Western chart and the tropical zodiac. The word karma means action, or deed.
Is this Vedic or Indian astrology?
No. Karmic astrology is its own tradition within Western astrology.
Does the course predict my future?
No. The course teaches you to read charts: tasks, talents, patterns and timing. It does not make predictions about your life and it never replaces medical, legal or financial advice.
How long is a lesson?
About fifteen to twenty-five minutes of video, plus the notes and a short quiz.
How much time do I need each week?
About two to three hours at Normal pace, four to six hours at Intensive pace.
How long does a tier take?
The Beginner and the Advanced Course take about ten months each at Normal pace and about five months at Intensive pace. The Mentoring Programme and each Master Workshop take about four months at Normal pace.
Language
English is not my first language. Will I understand the lessons?
Yes. The lessons are written in plain international English: short sentences, common words, every technical term explained. Many of our students study in their second language.
Can I ask questions in my own language?
Please write in English. Simple English is perfectly fine; we answer in simple English too.
Studying
Are there live classes?
No. Everything is self-paced, so it works in every time zone. You study when it suits you.
What is the difference between Normal and Intensive pace?
At Normal pace you receive new lessons every two weeks. At Intensive pace you receive new lessons every week, at twice the monthly price. The lessons are the same.
Can I change my pace later?
Yes, at the start of a new month.
How do I ask a question about the material?
You write to us from the learning platform or by e-mail. You receive a detailed written answer prepared under Mónika's guidance within 72 hours.
Do I need special software?
No. You need a browser. For your practice charts we show you a free chart-calculation website in the first chapter.
Can I download the material?
The notes PDFs, yes. The videos are watched online for as long as your access lasts.
Tests and certificates
Is there an exam?
Each lesson has a short quiz, and each tier ends with a test. You can retake a test.
What do I receive when I pass?
The certificate of the tier, issued by Karmic Astrology Course – Mónika Angyal, as a numbered PDF. More about the certificates.
Is the certificate an official qualification?
It is a certificate of completion of this course. It is not a state or university qualification. Astrology is not a regulated profession in most countries.
Payment
In which currencies can I pay?
In euros or US dollars. Every price is shown in both.
Which payment methods do you accept?
Secure online payment on the learning platform. The available methods are shown at checkout.
Do the prices include VAT?
Prices are shown as final prices for consumers in the European Union. Your invoice shows the applicable VAT.
Can I stop the monthly plan?
Yes, at any time. You keep access until the end of the paid month. There are no partial refunds for the current month.
Can I get a refund for a prepaid tier?
Prepaid tiers are digital content. Once you have started the lessons, the purchase cannot be refunded. See the refund and cancellation policy.
